Our Ski Touring Essentials course covers the skills required to venture into the backcountry. Using Randonee or Telemark Skis we cover:
- Proper skinning techniques
- Route finding for the way up
- Strategies for finding the best snow on the way down
- Avalanche and safety skills
- and other tricks by the guide
The 2-day avalanche clinic is recommended but not required.
